The old cow shed, what can we say? You are FANTASTIC! From start to finish everything ran seamlessly. Helen & Simon treat you like their family. Their laid back chilled manner really helps calm the nerves of bride and groom, helping the day flow effortlessly. The old cow shed is just the vibe we were looking for to suit our style. It was the first place and only place we viewed. We knew as soon as we stepped in that it was the one for us. The fact they said the place is yours to have free range and do what we wanted…AMAZING! My husband and I got married here in July and we can't rave about it enough! It's such a modern stylish venue unlike any others that we visited. The size was perfect for us (we had 74 guests) and the different areas within the venue meant the day flowed amazingly. It was great to have the reception drinks in the paddock, and then move through to the beautifully lit courtyard for the wedding breakfast and evening party! We loved being able to stay on site, and the accommodation was gorgeous. With the addition of the shepherd huts, we were able to have all bridesmaids and groomsmen stay with us. It meant the celebrations could spread over more than just one day, and we made a real weekend of it. Helen + Simon are the icing on the cake at this venue. We loved how laid back and calm they were throughout. They were so helpful and attentive and helped keep the vibes very relaxed. We just hope someone we know books a wedding here so we can come back and enjoy it again!

What can I say. This place is amazing, One of the most stunning venues. From the moment you pull up the drive to being under the covered court yard. We had our wedding there and we had the best day. Helen and Simon are fantastic, they perfectly match the relax vibe of The Old Cow Shed. Couldn’t rate this place any better a fantastic place to get wed. My wife was able to stay there with the bridesmaids on the Friday night so she was perfectly relaxed going into the wedding day. Highly recommend the bride and groom to be having ten minutes in the hot tub together before the wedding day when the set up is nearly done. Will and Amy

We had our wedding here recently and we couldn’t have wished for anything more perfect. The venue is amazing. The accommodation was superb, to be able to give some of our family and friends a place to stay meant a lot to us. From our ceremony in the court yard, which was magical to our welcome drinks on the patio in the sun and the cocktail bar was excellent. Then our meal in the barn and finally back to the court yard to party our evening to end a spectacular and such a special day. Helen and Simon you were amazing. THIS PLACE HAS MY HEART. As a Multi-Award Wedding and Events Planner and Stylist, working and playing at The Old Cow Shed is second to none, the venue, the vibe and the incredible owners Helen & Simon! With its laid back but luxurious touches, The Old Cow Shed is a dream. Having worked in various venues across the UK & Europe, The Old Cow Shed has my heart each and every time. Helen and Simon not only open their Cow Shed doors, they fling open their Big Barn accommodation and welcome guests openly to their venue. They are beyond accommodating and an absolute pleasure (& blast!) to work with. With various options of how and where you can 'get wed in the shed', it's a true treasure as a wedding venue. (I may fist pump when a 'Cow Shed Couple' get in touch for me to design, create, and style their big day at the Shed! ) with it's endless possibilities with the Shed, the Paddock, the Canvas Covered, festoon filled Courtyard, it's beautiful in the day, but really comes into its own as dusk falls and the festoons take over. It's fair to say... I love it there.

One of my absolute favourite wedding venues - unapologetically itself, this is such a fun, flexible, quirky space which you can shape yourself and Helen and Simon are the nicest folk EVER and really do bend over backwards for everyone, including those working. Having everything on site in one place makes for chilled out wedding mornings and the grounds are brilliant for photographs. Honestly could write a really lengthy review but the TLDR is if you're on the fence about booking your wedding here, stop thinking and DO IT.

My friends had a wonderful wedding here. I stayed 2 nights in one the nice caravans. Place was lovely. Staff were very helpful. Not the best picture but that's all I took.

BEST VENUE EVERRR Had an absolutely incredible wedding here. It's beautiful, cool and quirky. Loads of fantastic backgrounds for photos and versatile for where to have all the main events of the day with licence to marry indoor or outside under the canopy. The merging of original brick walls, beams and festoon lighting alongside funky artwork, funny touches and pops of colour all help to bring this unique venue it's fantastic atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a day of wedding fun! Helen & Simon have been awesome from start to finish, nothing is too much trouble and they helped an unbelievable amount with questions, site visits, information and help throughout the day and even helping to clear up in the evening - all whilst keeping things incredibly relaxed with positive vibes. They are so friendly and accommodating and we absolutely love what they've done with the place. Loved staying in the big barn the night before and on the wedding, what a room to get ready in! Really comfy beds and everyone loved their stays here and in the huts. Oh and being a dog friendly venue - Beau loved it too! Thank you so much to Helen, Simon & Nelly, The Old Cow Shed rocks and I'd definitely get married here again! :p (p.s yes that's Helen, going above and beyond holding a brolly over me on my way to the "I do's" and even though it rained all day we still had the best day ever)
