The waitress was lovely, super friendly and helpful when my older child wanted a larger portion of a child’s meal, the food was exceptional, the place looks incredible, clean lovely toilets - perfect place for my mums birthday celebration. I have never had a bad experience here, fully rate it

The Thursday steak and wine offer was a good deal, and the steak was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the desserts. Staff looked after us well.

Went here for a drink with two other couples and the children and dogs. Booked the bar area so it was quieter and more relaxed for their dogs. The restaurant and bar was quiet which was nice. Plenty of seating and areas to eat and drink at. Plenty of choice on both food and drink menus. I would return in the future for a meal Parking: Plenty of parking Disabled bays

Enjoyed a nice relaxed meal on New year's Day for my birthday, the waiting staff were all lovely and the food was enjoyed by everyone ( 6 of us)

Lovely festive feeling so a great venue for a Christmas Catch up. Hannah, Amy, Alex and the rest of the team serving us were superb as was the food. Tried the Sea-bass on the Christmas menu and just wow really blew me away. Everything was done to perfection 😁Nigel even came out from the kitchen to check everything was OK so was great to tell him how much I enjoyed it.

Bridget, who was our host for the night was outstanding and made the experience that little more special. Great place to go for parties, friends or just with family.! We were a huge group but nothing was too much for Bridget. She was exceptional and if there were more stars I could give she would get them. She definitely makes the experience from the moment you walk in till the moment you walk out and all this with a smile on her face. She’s a keeper. Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids to come and enjoy with you.. and the staff are so amazing specially Bridget.

Staff were super helpful, friendly and professional. Food was better than we were expecting for pub grub and a good choice at reasonable prices. The environment was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back and happy to recommend to friends.

Visited with my mum on Sunday. Pre booked and service was excellent. The staff were all lovely. Mum had fish and chips - I tasted her beer batter on the fish and wow it was beautiful not at all greasy and with a great crunch. Mum said it was the best she has tasted for a very long time. I had the super salad ( watching my calorie intake) with the 6oz rump steak - cooked perfectly and a lovely salad. Desserts mum had chocolate sundae ( she ate it all) and I had the warm brownie with the blood orange ice cream and raspberries. Just excellent. Had a fab meal and really enjoyed every aspect. Will definitely be visiting again.

I would have given 4 and a half stars if available. The food was great and good amount of thick slices of beef for the Sunday roast. All was great. My only reason and not that serious was that the Yorkshire pudding was cold ( in my party of two) and very small amount of red cabbage. Yes I could have said at the time but didn't feel the need. As I say food and service was excellent. Oh and they were quite happy to my request of extra pork crackling on my beef dish 😘. Will visit again. Thank you. Parking: Parking on site

Booking on line. Very easy Greeted well on arrival Seated in the table service area Bit of a longer wait for the drinks when ordered but apology made Food choice very good. Fish and chips were fabulous. Nicely served and delicious Good choice of dessert although 2 were unavailable but chosen ones were very nice The sole experience was faultless. Definitely be back again. Visited the ladies toilets before leaving and they clearly hadn’t been checked in awhile but did find one clean enough to use Honest facts not meant as criticism Parking: Lots of parking decent width spaces
